Si Zentner (June 13, 1917 - January 31, 2000 ) was a highly acclaimed and veteran jazz trombonist and bandleader from New York City who became famous beginning in the 1940s when he played with such top acts as Les Brown, Jimmy Dorsey, and Harry James before forming his own band. As a performing artist, Zentner's best known songs include his instrumental hit cover of Hoagy Carmichael's "Up A Lazy River" (1961).
