Sister Sledge is an R&B group from Philadelphia, PA that became famous during the late 1970s at the height of the disco era. Formed in 1971, the original lineup consisted of sisters Debbie, Joni (September 13, 1956 - March 10, 2017), Kim, and Kathy Sledge, with some personnel changes.
