The Slades


The Slades were a late 1950s doo-wop group from Austin, TX consisting of John Goeke, Tommy Kaspar, Bobby Doyle, Jimmy Davis, and lead singer Don Burch. They are best known for the original version of the Burch-penned "You Cheated" (1958), which later also became a hit for The Shields.
