Slim Whitman (January 20, 1923 - June 19, 2013) was an internationally famous country singer and yodeler with a long string of hits on the Country charts from 1952-1981. His best known songs include "Indian Love Call" (1952), "Secret Love" (1954), and "Rose-Marie" (1954). He had a resurgence in popularity during the late 1970s-1980s with several greatest hits compilations which were sold on TV.
