The Spellbinders were a New Jersey-based soul group consisting of Bobby Shivers, Elouise Pennington, Ben Grant, Jimmy Wright, and McArthur Munford. They are best remembered for the Van McCoy-penned "For You" (1965). The group toured actively and developed a loyal followng in the U.K.
