ABOUT

Stan Freberg (August 7, 1926 - April 7, 2015, b. Stanley Friberg) was a Grammy-winning actor, author, comedian, musician, puppeteer, radio personality, and advertising creative director. Beginning in the early 1950s, many of his satirical comedy routines became hits on the Pop/Rock charts, and he is best known for the chart-topping "St. George And The Dragonet" (1953), a spoof that combines the tale of "St. George And The Dragon" with the then-popular radio/TV series, "Dragnet."
