Steve Forbert (b. 1954) is a veteran pop/folk singer-songwriter who became famous during the late 1970s and early 1980s. He is best known for the Top 20 smash, "Romeo's Tune" (1979), which also became a big hit in Australia, Canada and several other countries worldwide. In 2004, Forbert's album, "Any Old Time," was nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Traditional Folk category.
