Steve Gibson & The Red Caps (aka 5 Red Caps) were an R&B vocal group known for their energetic performances that became famous during the 1940s and early 1950s. Their many hits include "I Learned A Lesson, I'll Never Forget" (1944), "I Went To Your Wedding" (1952), and "Silhouettes" (1957), which became their biggest crossover successes. Members included Damita Jo (later of "I'll Save The Last Dance For You" and "I'll Be There" fame) who served as featured singer from 1950-1953.
