Sunny & The Sunglows was formed in 1959 by Jimmie Lewing and Sunny Ozuna in Palacios, TX. Later known as Sunny & The Sunliners, the group had several hits during the early 1960s consisting mainly of covers. Their style is a unique mix of R&B, tejano, blues, doo-wop, and mariachi.
