Tab Hunter (July 11, 1931 - July 8, 2018, b. Arthur Andrew Kelm) was an actor and Hollywood heartthrob known for his blond, clean-cut good looks who became famous during the 1950s and 1960s, starring in such movies as "Battle Cry" (1955), "The Girl He Left Behind" (1956), "Gunman's Walk" (1958), "Damn Yankees" (1958), and "Ride The Wild Surf" (1964). As a singer, he is best known for his chart-topping rendition of the Carole Joyner/Ric Cartey-penned pop/country standard, "Young Love" (1957), which became a million-seller. Other major hits include "Ninety-Nine Ways" (1957) and "I'll Be With You In Apple Blossom Time" (1959), which both made the Top 40.
