The Tassels

The Tassels were a male-female vocal group from New Jersey consisting of Joe Intelisano, Leo Joyce, and siblings John and Rochelle Gaudet. They are best known for the Gaudet-penned doo-wop ballad, "To A Soldier Boy" (1959), featuring a spoken passage in which a letter is read out loud.
