Tender Slim was the brainchild of songwriter/producer Teddy Vann who had a hit in 1960 under that name with "Teenage Hayride." This mostly-instrumental rocker with background partying noises is based on the "Pop Goes The Weasel" and "Three Blind Mice" nursery rhymes.
