Terry Gilkyson (June 17, 1916 - October 15, 1999) was a veteran folk singer, songwriter, and composer known for his contributions to Disney films, including "The Bare Necessities" from "The Jungle Book" (1967). The Easy Riders, a folk trio consisting of Gilkyson, Richard Dehr, and Frank Miller that became famous during the late 1950s, are best known for their Top 5 smash cover of the traditional calypso song, "Marianne" (1957).
