The Texans were an instrumental rockabilly duo consisting of brothers Johnny (March 25, 1934 - August 14, 1964) and Dorsey Burnette (December 28, 1932 - August 19, 1979). Under that name, they are best known for the wild and woolly "Green Grass Of Texas" (1961).
