Thomas Wayne & The Delons were a doo-wop group that became famous during the late 1950s. They are best known for the original version of "Tragedy" (1959), a somber ballad which later also became a hit for The Fleetwoods. Wayne (July 22, 1940 - August 15, 1971) was the brother of Johnny Cash's guitarist, Luther Perkins.
