Tim Davis (November 29, 1943 - September 20, 1988) was a drummer, singer, songwriter, and co-founder of the Steve Miller Band who became famous as a solo artist during the early 1970s. He is best known for the mostly spoken country pop hit, "Buzzy Brown" (1972).
