The Timetones were a ca. early 1960s doo-wop quintet from Glen Cove, Long Island, NY led by Rodgers LaRue. They are best remembered for the upbeat "(Here) In My Heart" (1961), which has the same opening bars as "The Bristol Stomp" by The Dovells.
