Timmy Shaw (September 13, 1938 - March 29, 1984, b. Jake Hammonds) was an R&B/soul singer who became famous during the 1960s. His 1964 hit, "Gonna Send You Back To Georgia," was a favorite of John Lennon and included in his jukebox.
