Harry Lawrence "Tiny" Hill (July 19, 1906 - December 13, 1971) was a band leader with a flair for novelty songs who became famous beginning in the late 1930ss. He is best known for the bouncy and affable "Angry" (1939) which makes use of sandpaper blocks and a guiro to generate a danceable double shuffle beat. Other big hits include "Doodle Doo Doo" (1939), "How Many Hearts Have You Broken (With Those Great Big Beautiful Eyes)" (1944), "Hot Rod Race" (1951), and "Slow Poke" (1952).
