Tommy Hunt (June 18, 1933 - February 12, 2025, b. Charles James Hunt) was a highly acclaimed soul singer with a longtime following among fans of the U.K. Northern Soul scene who became famous beginning in the mid 1950s as a member of The Flamingos. As a solo artist, he is best known for such hit romantic ballads as "Human" (1961), "The Door Is Open" (1962), and "I Am A Witness" (1963). Hunt was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2001 as a member of The Flamingos.
