Tompall & The Glaser Brothers were a highly acclaimed country group consisting of brothers Tompall, Jim, and Chuck Glaser that became famous beginning in the late 1960s and were influential in the outlaw movement. Best known for their smash covers on the Country charts of Cymarron's "Rings" (1971) and Kris Kristofferson's "Lovin' Her Was Easier (Than Anything I'll Ever Do Again" (1981), other top hits include "California Girl (And The Tennessee Square)" (1969), their biggest Pop/Rock crossover success. They were honored in 1970 with the CMA Award for Vocal Group of the Year.
