Vito & The Salutations were a doo-wop group from Brooklyn, NY led by Vito Balsamo. They are best known for their upbeat rendition of the extensively-covered "Unchained Melody" (1963) later made famous by The Righteous Brothers. Vito & The Salutations' version was used as part of the soundtrack to "Goodfellas" (1990).
