The Waitresses

ABOUT

The Waitresses were a ca. early 1980s new wave band from Akron, OH best known for the 1982 hit, "I Know What Boys Like." They were founded and led by guitarist-songwriter Chris Butler, with lead vocals provided by Patty Donahue. The Waitresses performed the theme song to the TV sitcom, "Square Pegs."
