Walter Egan (b. 1948) is a veteran pop/rock singer-songwriter and guitarist who became famous during the late 1970s. He is best known for the melodic soft rock smash, "Magnet And Steel" (1978), with backing vocals provided by Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac.
