ABOUT
The Whatnauts were a ca. early 1970s soul vocal group from Baltimore, MD. Their best known songs include "Message From A Black Man" (1970) and "I'll Erase Away Your Pain" (1971), which both became Top 20 hits on the R&B charts. With The Moments, The Whatnauts also had a hit in 1974 with "Girls (Part I)," which made the R&B Top 40 the following year.
