ABOUT
The Whispers are a highly acclaimed and veteran R&B vocal group from Los Angeles, CA that became famous beginning in the early 1960s. Their many hits include the R&B chart toppers, "And The Beat Goes On" (1980) and "Rock Steady" (1987), the latter of which became a Top 10 hit on the Pop/Rock charts. The Whispers were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame and the R&B Music Hall of Fame and received the Rhythm and Blues Foundation's Pioneer Award in 2008.
