The Wildweeds

ABOUT

The Wildweeds were a ca. late 1960s rock band from Connecticut led by singer, songwriter, and guitarist Al Anderson. Their best known songs include the haunting yet catchy "No Good To Cry" (1967). Anderson went on to serve as the lead guitarist for NRBQ and also recorded solo. He later switched to country music and wrote hit songs for other artists that include Tim McGraw's chart-topping "The Cowboy In Me."
