Willie Hutch (December 6, 1944 - September 19, 2005, b. William McKinley Hutchison) was a singer, songwriter, arranger, and producer known for his work with Motown during the 1970s and 1980s. Best known for the funky and energetic "Love Power" (1975, not to be confused with the same-named hits by The Sandpebbles and Dionne Warwick/Jeffrey Osborne), other hits include "Brother's Gonna Work It Out" (1973) and "Slick" (1973), the latter two songs from the soundtrack to "The Mack" (1973) starring Richard Pryor. Hutch co-wrote such oldies classics as The Jackson 5's "I'll Be There" and The 5th Dimension's "Together Let's Find Love." He also wrote, recorded, and produced the soundtracks to "The Mack" (1973) and "Foxy Brown" (1974).
