ABOUT

The Willows are a veteran doo-wop group formed in Harlem, NY in 1950 that has continued to perform to the present day, with a number of lineup changes. Led by Tony Middleton, they are best known for the 1956 hit, "Church Bells May Ring," an upbeat rocker featuring Neil Sedaka on chimes written by Morty Craft of Melba Records and Willows group members. This doo-wop classic was covered by several other groups through the early 1960s and became a Top 20 hit for The Diamonds.
