Yvonne Elliman (b. 1951) is a highly acclaimed and veteran singer-songwriter and actress with expressive, soulful vocals who became famous beginning in the early 1970s for portraying Mary Magdalene in the rock opera, "Jesus Christ Superstar." Her many hits include the chart-topping disco classic, "If I Can't Have You" (1978), as featured in the movie blockbuster, "Saturday Night Fever" (1977), starring John Travolta.
