The Beginning Of The End - Songs

ABOUT

The Beginning Of The End was a funk group from the Bahamas that became famous during the early 1970s. They are best known for the rousing calypso-flavored smash, "Funky Nassau-Part I" (1971).

Formed in 1969, the lineup consisted of three brothers - Frank (drums), Raphael "Ray" (organ), and Roy Munnings (guitar) - along with Fred Henfield (bass) and Livingston Colebrook (guitar), with brass provided by the Funky Nassau Horns. They released an album on Alston Records, "Funky Nassau," which includes their same-titled biggest hit. The Beginning Of The End had one other charting song in late 1971 with "Monkey Tamarind" (1971) before finally disbanding in 1975.
