ABOUT
Bill Cosby (b. 1937) is an award-winning and veteran comedian, actor, and media personality with a trademark relaxed delivery who became famous beginning in the 1960s and had his first starring role on TV as Agent Alexander Scott in "I Spy." He made a splash on the Pop/Rock charts in 1967 with the novelty smash, "Little Ole Man (Uptight-Everything's Alright)," a parody of Stevie Wonder's "Uptight (Everything's Alright)." Cosby recorded a long string of comedy albums through the early 2010s, many of which became million-sellers. His other comedic works include creating and voicing the characters in the animated TV series, "Hey, Hey, Hey, It's Fat Albert" (1969) and "Fat Albert And The Cosby Kids" (1972-1985).
Cosby later produced and starred as Cliff Huxtable in the long-running TV sitcom, "The Cosby Show" (1984-1992), the role for which he is best known. His numerous honors and accolades include eight Grammys, five Emmys, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
