Billy Vera And Judy Clay were an R&B duet best known for the 1968 hits, "Country Girl - City Man" and "Storybook Children." Billy Vera is a pop singer, songwriter, actor, and rock historian. He embarked on a solo career in the 1980s with his band, the Beaters. Judy Clay (September 12, 1938 - July 19, 2001) was a soul singer who, over the years, had performed both solo and as part of an R&B duet.
