ABOUT
Captain & Tennille were a hugely popular husband-wife pop/soft rock duo consisting of Daryl "The Captain" Dragon (August 27, 1942 - January 2, 2019) and Toni Tennille (b. May 8, 1940) who became famous during the mid to late 1970s. Best known for the chirpy "Love Will Keep Us Together" (1975), they also topped the charts with the romantic ballad, "Do That To Me One More Time" (1979), and their many other hits also included their remakes of Neil Sedaka's "Lonely Night (Angel Face)" (1976) and Smokey Robinson's "Shop Around" (1976). From 1976-1977, they hosted their own TV variety show on ABC.
