The Chiffons - Songs

ABOUT

The Chiffons are a highly acclaimed and veteran pop vocal ensemble that began as one of the leading girl groups of the early 1960s. Their best known songs include such oldies classics as "He's So Fine" (1963), which topped both the R&B and Pop/Rock charts, as well as "One Fine Day" (1963) and "Sweet Talkin' Guy" (1966). The Chiffons also recorded "My Block" as The Four Pennies, which became a minor hit in 1963.

Formed in 1960 in the Bronx, New York while all the founding members were still in high school, the original lineup consisted of Patricia Bennett, Judy Craig, and Barbara Lee (May 16, 1947 - May 15, 1992), and Sylvia Peterson joined the group soon after in 1962. The Chiffons have continued to tour and perform to the present day, with some personnel changes along the way.
