ABOUT
Dave Dudley (May 3, 1928 - December 22, 2003, b. David Darwin Pedruska) was a country music singer with deep, resonant vocals who became famous during the 1960s and 1970s as a pioneer of the trucker country genre. Best known for the classic trucker smash anthem, "Six Days On The Road" (1963), which became his greatest Pop/Rock crossover success, his long string of hits on the Country charts from 1961-1980 also includes the humorous and catchy "Truck Drivin' Son-Of-A-Gun" (1976), "Cowboy Boots" (1963), and the chart-topping "The Pool Shark" (1970) that all showcase Dudley's flair for storytelling.
