ABOUT
The Detergents were a pop group from New York that became famous during the mid 1960s. The lineup consisted of Danny Jordan, Tommy Wynn, and Ron Dante of The Archies and The Cuff Links. They are best remembered for the novelty smash, "Leader Of The Laundromat" (1964), a spoof of "Leader Of The Pack" by The Shangri-Las. Lee Pockriss and Paul Vance produced for The Detergents and wrote most of their songs.
