Foster Sylvers (b. February 25, 1962) is an R&B singer, songwriter, record producer, and multi-instrumentalist. Born in Pasadena, California, he began in 1971 as the youngest member of The Sylvers, a family vocal group famous for the disco classic, "Boogie Fever" (1976), in which he shared lead vocals with his brother Edmund. In 1973, Foster Sylvers launched his solo career at age 11 with the release of his eponymous debut album.

Sylvers debuted on both the R&B and Pop/rock charts in 1973 with "Misdemeanor," a funky dance tune written by his brother, Leon Sylvers III. This smash, which became a Top 10 R&B hit and made the Pop/Rock Top 40, was followed later that year by his cover of Dee Clark's "Hey, Little Girl," which became a minor hit. Sylvers made many TV appearances during the 1970s on such shows as "American Bandstand" and "Soul Train" and released a total of five albums through 1990.
