ABOUT
Friend & Lover were a folk/sunshine pop singing duo consisting of then-husband and wife Jim (October 28, 1939 - September 14, 2022) and Cathy Post (May 30, 1945 - July 4, 2018) who became famous during the late 1960s. They are best known for the haunting yet cheery "Reach Out Of The Darkness" (1968), which became a Top 10 hit. Written by Jim Post, this era-defining oldies classic became an anthem by protest movements against American politics of the time.
