The James Gang - Songs

ABOUT

The James Gang was an influential hard rock/blues rock band that became famous during the early 1970s. Best known for the hard-driving "Walk Away" (1971) and "Funk #49" (1970), both of which continue to be staples on classic rock stations, other hits include "Midnight Man" (1971) and "Must Be Love" (1974).

Formed in 1966 in Cleveland, Ohio, the classic hitmaking lineup consisted of Jim Fox (drums), Dale Peters (bass), and Joe Walsh (guitar, lead vocals), with many personnel changes that included the departure of Walsh in late 1971 to pursue a solo career and later join the Eagles. After the band's split in 1977, Fox, Peters, and Walsh reunited several times over the years as The James Gang that include a performance in 2022 at the Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert held at London's Wembley Stadium.
