ABOUT
The Marshall Tucker Band is a veteran Southern rock band that became famous during the late 1970s. Formed in 1972 in Spartanburg, South Carolina and led by Doug Gray, other original members included Jerry Eubanks (keyboards, saxophone, flute), Paul Riddle (drums), bassist Tommy Caldwell (1949-1980), rhythm guitarist George McCorkle (1947-2007), and lead guitarist Toy Caldwell (1947-1993) who served as main songwriter. Their best known songs include "Fire On The Mountain" (1975) and "Heard It In A Love Song" (1977).
