The Peppermint Trolley Company - Songs

ABOUT

The Peppermint Trolley Company was a sunshine pop group that became famous during the late 1960s. They are best known for the sweet and ethereal "Baby You Come Rollin' Across My Mind" (1968). They also sang and arranged the original opening theme to the ABC family sitcom, "The Brady Bunch."

Formed in 1965 in Redlands, California and first known as The Mark V, the classic hitmaking lineup consisted of Casey Cunningham (drums), Greg Tornquist (guitar, backing vocals), and brothers Danny (keyboards, flute) and Jimmy Faragher (lead vocals, bass, guitar). By 1966, the group had become known as The Peppermint Trolley Company and signed with Acta, a subsidiary of Dot Records. They released one album and five singles and made a number of TV appearances, most notably on "Mannix" and "The Beverly Hillbillies," before disbanding in 1969 to form the rock/soul group, Bones (of "Roberta" fame). Danny and Jimmy Faragher later also formed The Faragher Bros. (of "Stay The Night" fame).
