Cannibal & The Headhunters were a Mexican-American rock band from East Los Angeles that became famous during the mid 1960s. Formed in 1965 by Frankie "Cannibal" Garcia (d. January 21, 1996, age 49), other group members included Richard "Scar" Lopez (d. July 30, 2010, age 65) and brothers Bobby and Joe "Yo Yo" Jaramillo. They are best known for their frenetic Top 40 remake of Chris Kenner's "Land Of 1000 Dances" (1965) famous for its iconic "Na na-na-na-na" hook.
