Bill Black('s) Combo was an early 1960s instrumental soul group. This group's best known songs include the instrumental hits "Smokie - Part 2" (1960), "White Silver Sands" (1960), and "Josephine" (1960). After Bill Black passed away in 1965, Bobby Tucker of the Tarantulas became the lead for the Bill Black Combo and the group, which incorporated other Tarantulas members, recorded until the 1970s.
