ABOUT
Cathy Jean & The Roommates were a vocal pop group from Queens, New York fronted by then 15-year-old Cathy Jean Giordano (b. 1945) that became famous during the early 1960s. They are best known for the smash romantic ballad, "Please Love Me Forever" (1961). Led by Steve Susskind, The Roommates, whose other members included Felix Alvarez, Jack Carlson, and Bob Minsky, had their own hit later that year with "Glory Of Love" (1961).
