ABOUT
Cream was a short-lived but highly acclaimed and influential English psychedelic/acid/blues rock "supergroup" that became famous during the late 1960s. They are best known for such classic rock staples as "Sunshine Of Your Love" (1968), "White Room" (1968), and "Crossroads" (1969).
Formed in London in 1966, the lineup consisted of Ginger Baker (drums), Eric Clapton (guitar), and bassist Jack Bruce (May 14, 1943 - October 25, 2014) who served as the band's main songwriter and vocalist. After Cream split in 1968, Clapton and Baker went on to form Blind Faith. The band's numerous honors and accolades included being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1993.
