David Cassidy - Songs

ABOUT

David Cassidy (April 12, 1950 - November 21, 2017) was a hugely popular and beloved pop/rock singer, actor, songwriter, guitarist, and former teen idol who became famous beginning in the early 1970s for his starring role as Keith Partridge in the TV musical sitcom, "The Partridge Family." This show, which featured Cassidy as the lead singer of this fictional TV family and catapulted him to pop superstardom, spawned a string of hits under The Partridge Family moniker beginning with the chart-topping "I Think I Love You" (1970).

As a solo artist, David Cassidy's best known songs include his smash remakes of such oldies classics as The Associations' "Cherish" (1971) and The Young Rascals' "How Can I Be Sure" (1972). Over the years, he continued to amass a considerable international following, especially in the U.K. He had a resurgence in popularity on the U.S. charts in 1990 with the hard-driving Top 40 rocker, "Lyin' To Myself."

In addition to "The Partridge Family," David Cassidy's numerous other acting credits included various roles in such popular TV shows as "Dragnet," "Ironside," "The Love Boat," "Fantasy Island," "Malcolm In The Middle," and "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation."
