Eumir Deodato (b. 1941) is a veteran Brazilian jazz/funk/bossa nova pianist, composer, arranger, and producer who became famous as a recording artist during the early 1970s. He is best known for the instrumental disco smash, "Also Sprach Zarathustra (2001)" (1973).
