With brother Brian Holland and Lamont Dozier, Eddie Holland formed Holland-Dozier-Holland, a well known Motown hit production trio inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990. Holland had several chart hits, his best known being his 1962 chart debut song, "Jamie." Holland wrote and produced numerous Motown hits and formed the Hot Wax/Invictus record label.
