ABOUT
Flash was a short-lived English progressive rock group with a sound much like that of Yes that became famous during the early 1970s. They are best known for the epic "Small Beginnings" (1972).
Formed in 1971 in London by famed original Yes guitarist Peter Banks (July 15, 1947 - March 7, 2013), the lineup also consisted of Ray Bennett (bass), Mike Hough (drums), and lead singer Colin Carter (d. January 10, 2025). Flash disbanded in 1973 and reunited many years later in 2010-2013 to tour and record, with a lineup that included two original members, Carter and Bennett.
